In Stores NOW: Nike Kobe 9 Mid EXT “Snakeskin”

[layerslider id=”11″]

We’ve been accustomed to seeing Kobe sneakers in low top form for awhile now, so when discovered that the 9’s were going to be high-tops, that was more stranger than an individual who likes to eat Pop-Tarts w/ no frosting, but it made sense since he was just coming off an Achilles Tendon injury, plus they looked pretty good at the same time, so as sneaker fans we willingly accepted them into the fold. But now Nike and Kobe took it another step higher or lower (which ever perspective you wanna look at it from) and released a Mid-top edition to the 9’s. The sneaker includes a snakeskin upper, stylized perforations to fit that luxury look, a Chrome midsole accent piece, and a gum outsole. The Swoosh also moves from the customary position on the lateral wall and creeps to the toe area. Be sure to grab a pair from your local Expressions.

Release Reminder: Nike Air Max 98 University Red

The cult classic Air Max 98 returned this year after a far-too-long absence, albeit a bit mysteriously — there’s been little advance notice for any colorways, and hasn’t stocked them yet. Be that as it may, you’ve got another crack at a new colorway this week courtesy of stateside retailers like Packer Shoes.

The Nike Air Max 98 University Red sports a grey mudguard wrapping a ridge white leather panel, which gives way to black-striped red through the midfoot, collar and tongue. Beneath, the full-length Max Air bag boasts deep red, tying together the striking, perfect-for-summer style. Check out our store located on 486 Washington Street, Boston, MA for a pair.

New Clothing: Hudson

Hudson started twenty plus years ago by Ed Small. They started off by making leather jackets for motorcycle police across the nation till about fifteen years ago, there was a high demand from the urban youth population for big heavy leather jackets. It was in style and everyone wanted it. This type of demand opened the door for Hudson to go public and switch their lines from police wear to fashion garments. Business went well for a while, but in 2009, business started hitting a decline. The leather jacket business didn’t exist anymore. That’s when Ed got a call from Mike Sultan and got the idea to start doing sportswear and from there Hudson was born.
