Hudson started twenty plus years ago by Ed Small. They started off by making leather jackets for motorcycle police across the nation till about fifteen years ago, there was a high demand from the urban youth population for big heavy leather jackets. It was in style and everyone wanted it. This type of demand opened the door for Hudson to go public and switch their lines from police wear to fashion garments. Business went well for a while, but in 2009, business started hitting a decline. The leather jacket business didn’t exist anymore. That’s when Ed got a call from Mike Sultan and got the idea to start doing sportswear and from there Hudson was born.
